Terms of Use
In order to play River of Kurn, you are required to use a valid, non-disposable email address. Your email address will be used for the following purposes:
- Account verification
- Password resets
- Do not contact requests
- Game reminders (when you haven't logged in for a while) - Not yet implemented
- Game updates (when a game is reset) - Not yet implemented
- Newsletters (if opted-in)
Additionally, your IP address will be logged in the web access logs as you access the site. These logs will be kept for a maximum of 30 days and then will be destroyed. They will not be retained in backup routines. If there is a website breach or security incident and your IP address is involved, these logs may be kept indefinitely until such time as the breach and any legal proceedings resulting from a breach have been resolved.
By registering for the River of Kurn, you acknowledge that your email address will be kept for the aforementioned purposes. You further agree to be opted-in to the game-related reminders and updates. These are infrequent mailings that you may opt-out of at any time from your profile page. (Not yet implemented, please contact us if you don't wish to receive game reminders and updates.)
If you no longer want to play the game, you may contact us to remove all personal information from our database and you will be asked if you'd like to remain on our do not contact list to ensure you do not get contacted going forward.
Your information will never be given or sold to any third-party. In the extremely unlikely event that someone would like to purchase River of Kurn from its creators, you will be asked if you would like your account to be transferred to the new owners and your choice regarding your account will be respected.
Should you not agree with these terms of service, you should not register for River of Kurn.
